The Channel Islands Beach Community Services District (“District”) may cancel or postpone any scheduled auction with at least three (3) days’ notice of cancellation or postponement by publication in a newspaper of general circulation, by sign posting or by notice on any website advertisement if previously used by the District. The District reserves the right to refuse to sell unless a reserve price has been reached as set forth by the District in its sole and absolute discretion. The winning bidder shall be required to immediately sign a purchase agreement whose terms have been previously disclosed at the following url: https://www.cibcsd.com/112laspalmas. Within two (2) days, the winning bidder shall deliver and the District must receive a deposit in the form of a cashier’s check made out to Chicago Title in the amount of 3% of the purchase price. District shall deposit the cashier’s check along with the fully executed purchase contract into escrow.

The purchase agreement shall include a seventeen (17) day diligence period. If the winning bidder elects to withdraw from the purchase during the diligence period or fails to perform, District may, at its discretion, offer the subject property to the next highest bidder. The parties will be required to sign or initial the purchase agreement in all locations where a signature or initials are referenced.
